Teaching Economics at University through Film and Literature

Resumo

This article analyses the possibility of using film and literature aseducational resources in the subject "Introduction to Economics" and proposesplanning for the academic year using these teaching resources and the application ofactive learning methodologies such as cooperative work and the inverted classroom.The proposal includes the planning of the sessions, with the objectives and resourcesused, and the design of activities and evaluable work. A review of the academicliterature will be carried out to find out about different cases of application of theseresources and an analysis of different literary and cinematographic works to show theeconomic contents that can be taught. It is considered that the use of these media willincrease the motivation of the students
