NÁÑEZ ALONSO

Sergio Náñez Alonso holds a PhD in Law and Economics from CEU-San Pablo University (2019), Cum Laude. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law (UCAV, 2010), a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management (UCAV, 2011; best final degree award) and a Master's Degree in Environment and Sustainable Development (UCAV-UEMC, 2012). Accredited in the figures of Professor Hired Doctor, Professor of Private University and Assistant Professor Doctor by ANECA since March 26, 2021. He has maintained a constant training in his areas of expertise. He has participated assiduously in congresses by attending and presenting papers. Regarding research, Professor Sergio Náñez has always developed the same focused on the field of taxation, digital currencies (CBDC and decentralized finance), financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. He currently has more than 100 scientific publications, including 38 articles, 14 monographs and manuals, 37 book chapters and more than 20 contributions to conferences. All of the publications published occupy relevant positions in the usual impact indexes (JCR first, second and third quartiles; SJR first and second quartiles and Citescore first and second quartiles). In the case of books and book chapters, all publications are in publishers in the first and second quartiles of the SPI index. At the author level, Sergio Náñez's works have been cited more than 1,000 times in Google Scholar (1,048); where he has an h-16 index and an i-10 index of 22. In Wos, his works have been cited almost 300 times (299), and he has an h-11 index. In Scopus, the author's works have been cited more than 450 times (477), presenting an h-13 index. In terms of author metrics in Scopus, 88.2% of his articles are among the 25% of the most cited documents in the world in their respective category. 72% of its publications are in the top 25% of journals according to CiteScore, 47% in the top 25% in SJR or 50% in SNIP. Firstly, the European project on entrepreneurship Students support towards entrepreneurial spirit development funded by the European Union (European Commission). Project No.: KA203-4755BD3C with a funding of 299,240 euros and a duration of 2 years. The project “Finance for All (FxT)” implemented in the province of Avila, carried out by the principal investigator, Sergio Luis Náñez Alonso. This research is part of the 2022 Call for Research Grants on Avila topics, in the modality of young researchers funded by the Provincial Council of Avila in collaboration with the Institución Gran Duque de Alba (IGDA) and with an endowment of 3,000 €; developed between January 2023 and January 2024. In third place, the “AGRO4TEC” project, financed by the Junta de Castilla y León, the Diputación de Ávila and the City Council of Ávila, the project has a total funding of 45,999.61 €. It is formed by a team of six researchers, including Sergio Luis Náñez. The project will run for one year, from February 2023 to February 2024. Its main achievement to date is the development of a digital platform to promote healthy and local agri-food products in the province of Avila.
