Two Therese, both great women, holy Carmelites and Doctors of the Church. Each with their own spirituality within the unity of the Gospel message. What elements may have influenced the spirituality of these two women? They have lived in different times, with specific natural and familiar environment that can make us better understand some aspects of their spirituality. We discuss some elements of the environment in which these two saints lived and its influence on her writings and spirituality
