Resumen

Collecting the contributions of Positive Psychology (Martin Seligman) and Meaning of life´s existential orientation (Viktor Frankl), has made an innovative instructional program (PIC Program) based on Positive Instructional Cognition (Cabaco, 2009). This model aims to optimize vital skills which form the comprehensive education of the person (‘learning to know’, ‘learning to do’ and ‘learning to be’) and integrate the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) proposal of skills education. This paper presents the theoretical foundation model and the configuring of the intervention program, which has already been implemented in a sample of 110 university students and high school students and is now in phase of generalization.
