I am a doctor who currently combines teaching, management, research and healthcare work. I have authored 20 high impact factor publications (12 Q1 and Q2 and preferred authorship), as well as being a reviewer (130 peer review records of 95 manuscripts) in publications and journals of international prestige such as: European Journal of Podiatry, Sao Paulo Medical Journal, in the journal of Preventive Medicine and Hygiene, Health Science Reports, Healthcare, Journal of Clinical Medicine, Medicine and guest editor of a special issue "Health, Musculoskeletal Pain, Neurological and Respiratory Pathology, Based on Rehabilitation". Currently, I have two research projects that obtained funding from various agencies and I am an active collaborator in these studies as co-principal investigator and study designer. In addition, I am principal investigator and director of the NEUMUSK research group at the UCAV. I am also part of the research group EGIIOFYD. Teaching, Management, Intervention, Inclusion and Guidance of Physical Activity and Sport at the Pontifical University of Salamanca. I also belong to the international muscle and tendon system study group GESMUTE. I also collaborate actively in 4 teaching innovation programmes and I have been tutoring Final Degree and Final Master's Degree projects in several national Universities for 6 years, as well as co-directing a doctoral thesis at the University of Salamanca. I have extensive experience in clinical practice for more than 20 years, combining my own clinic (6 contracted professionals) and different public/private healthcare centres. In addition, I have 2 master's degrees and I continue to train in the latest techniques in physiotherapy. I am also the author of several posters and communications. In recent years I have collaborated with the Catholic University of Avila in administrative tasks, since I have written a report for an official master's degree in physiotherapy, approved by Acsucyl and of which I was appointed director. This master's degree is in its fourth edition and, as of today, there are already students enrolled for the 2024/25 academic year. I have also worked as a lecturer in physiotherapy at the European University of Madrid, a post I have combined with that of lecturer in physiotherapy at the Catholic University of Avila, where I currently carry out the same work, as a full time contracted Doctor and with the figure of Contracted Doctor recognised by ANECA and I obtained the qualification of Very Favourable in the Docentia programme. I am an associate lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and UNIR. I have also been a member of the Doctoral Thesis Defence Tribunal at the European University of Madrid and at the University of Salamanca, where I also supervise a doctoral thesis.
